A group of six were out in a common snowmobiling area, when the individual ascended a mountain face for his final run. The man lost control of the machine, and fell off a cliff on the opposite side.

The S.T.A.R.S. helicopter team was called for the rescue, however upon their arrival, the male was found to be deceased and then transported to Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie.

Both the B.C. Coroners Service and Next of Kin have been notified of the accident.
