Charges dropped against one accused in major drug bust

Colin Stewart, Corey Stewart, Kenton Thomas, William Boyd and Kin Ku all still face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking after a number of search warrants were executed in the region in late October 2012.
On October 26, search warrants were executed simultaneously at five locations in Fort St. John and rural Charlie Lake, and a sixth in the Buick Creek area on October 27. Seized from the residences were over two kilograms of cocaine, both in powder and crack form, over 500 illegal prescription pills, anabolic steroids, $85,000 in cash, as well as three rifles, one shotgun and three handguns.

Court proceedings were adjourned until April 24, 2013 to ensure all parties have properly retained counsel.
