Year End Rec Hockey Tournament being played this weekend

Action begins Friday evening, with games running all weekend long, culminating with the finals being played Sunday afternoon.

This year, Rapid Wireline will be looking for their third straight tournament victory, defeating Big Chief River Rats last year in the finals, 5-2.

The Year End Tournament signifies the conclusion of the Fort St. John Recreational Hockey season.

Spectators can also enjoy their time off the ice, as at Monday's City Council meeting, Council approved a beer garden to be set up at the tournament.
