Ride for the Disabled showcasing skills with horse show

The non-profit organization offers equine opportunities for Fort St. John youth and adults with a variety of mental and physical disabilities.

Riders, who meet every Wednesday throughout the year, can benefit from increased mobility and different sensory experiences, while also working on core muscle control which has a positive effects on balance.

The horse show will display all the horsemanship skills the members of the Ride for the Disabled have learned throughout the year.

Festivities begin at 1 p.m.
