February building numbers on par with last year's

That's a positive sign, as January's permits were only just above half of last year's, while December 2012 was less than 30 per cent of 2011's.
February's numbers bring the year-to-date total to 17 permits worth $4.428 million, which is still behind last year's pace of $5.299 million for the same number of permits.

In terms of city revenue, the 12 permits brought in $17,990, bringing the year-to-date total to $22,440.
