Driver in fatal Cecil Lake Road accident identified

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

His five-ton water tanker truck was involved in a single vehicle rollover on the 103 Road near the Beatton River Bridge around 8 a.m. on December 11.

He had to be extracted from his cab and was taken by ambulance to the Fort St. John Hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of his death is still under investigation by the B.C. Coroners Service, WorkSafeBC and the RCMP, and the poor road conditions at the time may have been a factor.
