Along with the parade, various activities will be taking place throughout Fort St. John to help make the evening memorable.

From 7 – 8 p.m., free hot dogs and hot chocolate will be available at Centennial Park, which will also be the location where the official lighting of the Christmas tree will take place.

At 8 p.m., the intensity will rev up as everyone is invited to watch some hockey as the Fort St. John Huskies take on the Grande Prairie JDA Kings at the North Peace Arena.

If hockey isn’t your cup of eggnog, the North Peace Leisure Pool will be hosting a Christmas Movie Night, where everyone is invited to watch "The Grinch".
