Blowing hydro lines spark fire in tree branches
Spectra Energy employees helped keep motorists away from the hydro transmission line while the Fire Department put out the blaze and B.C. Hydro crews de-energized the site. The spot fires were extinguished and no injuries were sustained.
Sabulsky reminds the public to call 911 and stay away from trees, branches or any object energized by electricity.
