Peace Region to talk budget during telephone town hall

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Tuesday’s tele-town hall will be the first in a series of calls that will provide British Columbians the opportunity to discuss their budgetary priorities, as well as ask any questions of the Finance Minister.

Close to 50,000 residents in the Peace River area will be invited.

Residents with publicly listed telephone numbers will receive a phone call at home during the early evening, before or during the time the call is taking place.

Upon answering the phone, residents will be asked by a recorded message whether or not they would like to participate. If interested, simply stay on the line and if not, just hang up.

If you decide to stay on the line and participate, you may experience a short wait until the official call begins, or you may be directed right into the conversation if it is already underway.

Further instructions will be provided by a moderator.
