After historic dry summer, Fort St. John breaks rain records
Not only was that more than double the previous 1965 October 1st record of 11.9, it also exceeded the full monthly average of 25.8.
The weather bureau has now confirmed that the previously reported 47.7 millimetres this year is the new all time July through September record, and that 2.6 millimetres last month narrowly missed the 1975 September record low of 2.5.
