Residents help contain riverside fire
Jillian Chimko, Information Officer for the Prince George Centre, said Fire Centre crews attended the scene Monday, and will be returning to the site of the fire Tuesday evening to ensure it remains extinguished.
According to the Fire Centre, the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
Helping to control the situation were nearby residents, who contained the situation until fire officials arrived to the scene.
