Rodeo results wrangled up from Dawson Creek

Chuckwagon racing is a staple at the competition, and it was a familiar name that took first in the overall event.

Kirk Sutherland was the winner following five heats of racing, completing the event with a total time of 5:06.54, earning himself a first place total of 185 points.

The win will add to an already impressive racing resume for Sutherland, as this weekend’s victory was the third major win in his career.

Second place went to Jason Glass, who finished the five-heat race with a total time of 5:06:74 and 171 points, while Obrey Motowylo finished third with a time of 5:07.14 and 167.5 points.

The Exhibition also featured races from the Western Chuckwagon Association GMC Pro Tour, where, following five heats of racing, Sean Debolt placed first with a total time of 1.15.43.

Placing second was veteran driver Brian Lewis at 1:15:85, and Eric Rever rounded out third place at 1:17.10.

The weekend also provided those in attendance the opportunity to watch some great rodeo action, featuring a variety of events.
