U18 Northern Strikers secure spot in Tier 2 Provincials

Fort St. John will play in Tier 2 at the Alberta Soccer Association’s provincial championship, as they scored more goals than Grande Prairie in the two games.

The series wrapped up with a 7-4 aggregate final score, securing the Northern Strikers a position in the higher tier at provincials.

Following the series victory over Grande Prairie, the U18 Northern Strikers will compete in the Tier 2 ASA Provincial Championship in Red Deer, Alta, from August 17-19.

In preparation for the big tournament, the team will first compete in a warm up tournament in Red Deer, Alta. this coming week.
