The early investigation indicates that a black Ford Ranger truck left a camping site and was traveling on a secluded stretch of the 201 road, east of Swan Lake with it lost control and rolled.
The driver, a 26 year-old male of Horse Lake Alberta, was the sole occupant. The male succumbed to injuries that are believed to have been sustained when he was ejected from the vehicle.
The B.C. Coroner Service and the Dawson Creek RCMP are continuing their investigation into the factors contributing to the cause of the crash.
The name of the deceased is being withheld at this time pending notification of next of kin.
