Dreher wrapped up her final day of the tournament shooting her best score from all three days of competition

She shot a final round of 2 under 70, through what Dreher described as “really tough conditions”.

Dreher’s final round included eight pars, five birdies, an eagle on a par four, three bogies and a single double bogey.

She finished the tournament even with the course par, and only four strokes behind tournament winner Lauren Doughtie of America. Dreher’s tie for fourth was the highest finish for any competing Canadian.

Dreher showed improvement as the tournament progressed, shooting an opening day round of 75, followed by a second day score of 71, and ending with a 70. She showed great nerves entering the final round of competition, as her second day round of 71 earned her a ranking of 24th entering the final round of play.

On her final day of the tournament, her solid score of 70 saw her shoot up 20 spots in the tournament leaderboard.

It was also a special weekend for the career of Dreher, as it was her first top ten finish on the Symetra Tour.

Following a successful weekend, Dreher will next fly north of the border to compete in a qualifier on Monday, June 18, for the 2012 Manulife Financial LPGA, which begins Thursday, June 21.
