NLC to host trades barbeque and road hockey tournament

This year’s theme is a kick-off for the Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer, embracing past students who have participated in the Road Hockey tournament to win the "Trades Cup". This year, the barbeque decided to join the cause and host the road hockey tournament.

Organizers are looking for donations to help the event run more smoothly. Items looking to be donated include hockey equipment, barbeque food items, hockey tournament prizes, barbeque equipment as well as monetary donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The event will be held just outside the Northern Lights College Trades Centre, with the barbeque taking place from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the road hockey tournament beginning at 12:30 p.m. and ending at 2 p.m.
