Slow pitch league holding season opening AGM

The meeting will be taking place Wednesday, April 4, and will take place in the comforts of Fort St. John’s Lido Theatre.

Some issues that will be discussed at this year’s meeting include setting a date for the Icebreaker Tournament, membership updates and the Nicole Kelly sentencing.

The meeting will also look to fill the roles for this year’s league president and treasurer, as well as the league director position.

It will also highlight dates for this year’s Ump Clinic and year end clean up.

Regarding league fees, no changes have been announced yet and league executive Janet Prestley believes there will be no changes this year.

Two representatives from each team are required to be in attendance and the first game of the season is scheduled for Monday, May 7.

The deadline to register a team for this year’s season is April 28, so if you are interested in joining the league but have not done so yet, you are encouraged to attend the AGM.
