Local police nab drug suspect
The registered owner of the vehicle involved had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in connection with charges in Surrey. However, police determined their suspect was not that owner, and that he did not possess a valid driver's licence.
During the investigation they also found an undisclosed amount of cocaine, and about 18 hundred dollars in cash.
The suspect has since been released from custody, and has a scheduled court date of May 16th
