College hosting run for a good cause

This year’s race will feature three different events for racers to participate in. The first is a 10 km run road race, available for those 17 years of age and older. There will also be a 5 km walk or run race available to anyone interested in that distance, and finally, a 1 km race for participants 10 years old and under.

The event is fundraising for a great cause, as proceeds will go towards the IronTeam 2012 COPS for Cancer.

Registration for the event will be held the day of the race at 9 a.m., with racers starting their journeys at 10 a.m.

Fees to take part in the day’s event include $10 for anyone 19 or older, and only $5 for those 18 and younger.
