Specialists have been brought in to determine the correct path of action to put out the fire. Seetal says there are two options being considered at the moment, but that no decision has been made yet as to what path will be taken.

"One of the first things we had to do was remove some of the equipment on site, and we have had to look at bringing in some equipment from other locations in North America."

Although there's still no idea of how long it may take, which route is chosen will affect that length of time. The company is continuing to conduct daily aerial flyovers, communicating with surrounding residents and companies, and monitoring the air quality. Seetal says those air monitoring stations continue to indicate there is no risk to public health.
