Field House hosting season ending soccer tournament

The tournament will involve teams from all age groups, who will each play at different times throughout the weekend. The younger ages will begin playing at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb.24, with the older teams playing Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday.
 

Friday, games will begin at 4 p.m. with the final game of the day being played at 9 p.m.. Saturday, games will begin bright and early at 8 a.m., running all day with the final game hitting the pitch at 8:30 p.m.

Then Sunday, the final day of the competition, games will start up again at 8 a.m., with the gold medal games beginning late in the afternoon. The championship games will begin at 4:20 p.m. with the U18 Bronze game being played at 6 p.m. and the U18 Gold medal game beginning at 7 p.m.

Medal presentations will take place following the final championship game at 7:50 p.m.

The tournament will be played through two 20 minute halves, with each game including a three minute half-time.

With the conclusion of the indoor winter soccer season just around the corner, as of Wednesday, Feb.15, registration has officially been open for the 2012 spring league. Registration can be completed online through the league website and can also be done at this tournament.
