B.C. North Peace River continued
Wind chill values of minus 35 to minus 40 are forecast today through Wednesday.

A bitterly cold Arctic airmass will persist over the central interior through Wednesday. The combination of very cold temperatures with moderate northerly winds will result in extreme wind chill values exceeding warning thresholds of minus 35 in the Yoho Park – Kootenay Park and Elk Valley regions and minus 40 in the BC Peace and central interior regions through Wednesday.
People planning to spend time outdoors should exercise extreme caution as frostbite can occur within minutes.Â
