RCMP arrest male after an alleged assault

Allegedly an 18 year-old male, who was intoxicated, assaulted other family members and was causing damage to the home.

Once Police arrived, the suspect fled on foot.  General Duty members called in the dog team who apprehended the suspect.

The suspect was transported to the Fort St. John Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The suspect was released with a court appearance set for charges of mischief under $5,000 and resisting arrest.
