AHCOTE education training program accepting applications
Following the completion of the course, graduates will have received the necessary training, along with a degree and teaching certificate to provide jobs within the education industry across B.C. and Alberta. Â Â
The program has been active for over two decades, which is jointly offered by Northern Lights College, Simon Fraser University, University of Northern British Columbia, as well as with School District 59, 60 and 81. Â
Those interested in entering the program do require some prerequisites, which can either be a completed degree from an accredited university, or 60 transferable university credits, preferably from a Northern Lights College. Â Â Â
The program, which will start up again in Sept. 2012, has already begun to accept applications, with a limit of 16 students available. Applicants will also have to go through an interview process, with interviews beginning in Feb. 2012. Â
If interested in applying for the program but are unable to submit an application by the deadline, notify either of the below contacts to receive an extension.
