Fort Nelson Airport Closed after plane slides off runway

According to the Fort Nelson RCMP, the aircraft was carrying 112 passengers and 6 crew.  No one was injured in the accident and only the aircraft suffered minor damage.

Currently the Fort Nelson Airport is closed while crews work to move the aircraft out off the snow.

Enerjet operates a charter service between Calgary and Fort Nelson each Monday.

The Transportation Safety Board will be called into investigate the accident.
