RCMP arrest two people for allegedly trafficking drugs

On December 13, 2011, members of the Drug Section targeted a male who was suspected of trafficking cocaine.  A search warrant was executed at the male’s residence where cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, mushrooms, weapons and cash were located.  Michael Telford, of Fort St. John has been charged with 11 different offenses.

Telford has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on January 18.

On New Years Eve, the Drug Section arrested a male who was suspected of trafficking cocaine in Fort St. John.  The male was arrested and a quantity of cocaine was found in his possession.  Following the arrest, a search warrant was obtained for the male’s residence, which lead to over 1 kilogram of cocaine being seized.

The 41 year-old male will make his first court appearance in March and will face a number of charges including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
