Four NLC students benefit from Talisman awards

Power Engineering and Gas Processing students Derek Lalonde and Brittany Zarichney, and Applied Business Technology student Emma Tsakoza, were the recipients from the Fort St. John Campus. Health Care Assistant student Adeline Charlie was the recipient from the Dawson Creek Campus.

The awards, worth $1,250 each, were made available to any Aboriginal student enrolled at the college for the first time in any program except Career and College Preparation. Applicants were asked to indicate how the award will benefit their educational goals.
