Vandals cause over $200,000 in damage to heavy equipment

Sometime during the evening of Oct. 14 or the early morning hours of Oct. 15, a person or persons, caused extensive damage to four pieces of heavy equipment in a pasture on the 237 road.

The windows of all the machines were smashed out with extensive damage caused to the interior, controls and lighting system of each machine.  In each machine, the fire extinguisher was set off on the inside. 

One bulldozer was used to ram and damage the sides and engine area of one the other parked machines.
Estimates put the total damage at close to $200,000.
