Natural Gas land rights continue to slide
This week's sale came in, at just over $17 million, and the year-to-date total is slightly less than $124 million.
That's more than $650 million less than the comparable total in 2010 of $780 million.
The total tender bonus has fallen in each of their last three years, from an all-time high of over $2.6 billion dollars in 2008 to $844 million in 2010.
The average monthly total this year is slightly less than $14 million, and if that persists through the final three months, the final 2011 total would be less than $175 million, and lower than any year since 1998.
