Rage start NAHL Showcase Tournament in Minnesota
The IceRays scored first just 2:45 into the game. The Rage quickly answered back with a goal only 12 seconds later from Tyson McCallum.
From there Corpus Christi scored two more goals and Tyson McCallum picked up a second to end the first period with Corpus Christi leading 3-2.
In the second, the Rage tied the game with a goal from Ryan Matthews at the 3 minute mark of the period. The period ended in a 4-4 tie, with the fourth Rage goal coming from Scott Fellnermayr.
In the third the first and only goal came from the IceRays at the 12 minute mark from Perry DArrisso giving the IceRays a 5-4 win.
The Rage will now get ready for their second game of the tournament on Thursday against the Coulee Region Chill. It’s an early start for the Rage with the game starting at 10:30 a.m. Minneapolis time.
