Fort St. John golfer's tournament cut short

Local golfer Kirby Dreher will not be moving on to round two of the CN Canadian Women’s Open.

On Friday, Dreher finished her second and unfortunately final round at the LPGA event, being played at the Hillsdale Golf and Country Club in Mirabel, Quebec.

On Friday, Dreher shot a one-under 74, bringing her two day total to 147, for a 120th place finish. She began the second day of the tournament tied for 89th.

As part of the tournament format, only the top 70 plus ties proceed to the finals two days, being played on Saturday and Sunday.
