86 Street closed until October 15th
Starting Wednesday, 86 Street will be closed from 115 Avenue to the East Bypass for construction.
Workers are rebuilding the whole road to bring it up to city standards. This includes new street lights and storm drainage. The drainage work is a continuance of work done last summer.
The construction is costing the Ministry of Transportation and Highways 2.5 million dollars.
The street will be closed until October 15th, 2011.
