Representatives from B.C. Hydro are making their way to Fort St. John so share some energy saving tips.

On Sunday, Aug. 21, the team will be attending the city’s Fall Fair, armed with fun, interactive activities to test the public’s energy conservation knowledge and offer some great conservation tips.

Some of the tips the Outreach team will offer to the public include avoiding use of the oven, when the BBQ is available, as to avoid the oven constantly heating the house. Another tip is to hang wet clothes outside as opposed using the dryer, which can save energy, as well as money.

For more tips on how to save energy and money, please visit B.C. Hydro’s powersmart website.
