Two competitors injured during chuckwagon races recovering well

Driver Hugh Sinclair and outrider Doug Thomson collided during Sunday’s final and both were taken to the local hsopital. Sinclair was ejected from his wagon and sustained some soft tissue damage and deep bruising, but no broken bones or any serious complications. Thomson was knocked down before he was able to mount his horse and was released almost immediately after being treated for minor bumps and bruises. No horses required any veterinary care.

Both cowboys are expected to compete at the WPCA Dodge Pro Tour stop this week in Rocky Mountain House, Alta.
