Zombies crawled through town

On Saturday, August 13, 2011, Fort St. John played host to the walking dead. Zombies took over the streets and mall as they made their way through town.

A group of local residents took part in what is now an International event. The earliest non-promotional Zombie Walk having taken place in Toronto, Ontario in October 2003.

There has never been a direct reason for the Zombie Walks, although some cities do them around large events and others for charities. Many though, just want to embrace the living dead.
