Update – Large power outage in the North Peace

Update – Hydro now says the power won’t be restored until 12:30am.

Over 900 customers in the North Peace currently without power.

According to B.C. Hydro customers in Charlie Lake, Murdale, Montney, North Pine and Rose Prairie are currently without power.

At this time the cause of the outage is still under investigation and power should be restored by 11:30 p.m.
