Fort St. John begins Canada Day celebrations

Fort St. John residents lined the city’s downtown streets to celebrate Canada Day and watch the parade.

Filled with antique cars, horses and lots of red and white, the parade kicked off the day’s events.

Further events are currently ongoing at Centennial Park.

Then, starting at 7:30 p.m., there will also be a variety of activities for families in the field adjacent to North Peace Secondary School, including a magician and a concert by 9 Mile. Then, the City will be putting on a fireworks display, starting at 10:30 p.m.
