Dawson Creek RCMP arrest known cocaine trafficker

The Dawson Creek RCMP have seized over $50,000 in cocaine and marijuana.

The RCMP then executed a search warrant on an Arras residence which turned up 8 ounces of cocaine and over 13 pounds of marijuana.  According to the RCMP the street value of the cocaine is well over $20,000 and the value of marijuana is closed to $30,000.

A 25 year-old Dawson Creek male will be facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking for the second time in just over a month.  The name of the accused will not be released until his first court appearance.  Police have seized the accused’s SUV in the hopes that it will be forfeited to Crown as part of the investigation.
