UPDATE – Fire crews at Tags

Fort St. John Fire crews were called to a fire at TJ’s Country Kitchen Wednesday night.

The initial call came in at around 5 p.m., that smoke could be seen coming from the roof of the building.

The initial entry team from the Fort St. John Fire Department found a fire in the kitchen of TJ’s Country Kitchen. Damage was contained to the restaurant side of the building, with fire damage in the kitchen and smoke damage in the seating area.

At this time the cause of the fire is being investigated and no one was injured in the fire as the restaurant was closed at the time.

The extent of the damage in the restaurant is unknown at this time.
