High Octane fun for Father's Day

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines for Father’s Day weekend.
From Saturday June 18 until Sunday the 19, the Northern Lights Raceway will be hosting the OK Tire Father’s Day Drag Strip Race.

The two-day-long event will begin at 10 a.m. and is expected to end at around 4:30 p.m.

The weekend races will include five different race classes, including Street, Bikes/Sleds, Junior, Box and No Box.

The races will be in a bracket racing format, where racers will race three time trials.
Â
The races are open to the general public to participate in. Anyone interested in racing must show up before10 a.m. to register. Any car and driver can race; all that is required is a helmet and a simple vehicle inspection, which will be done at the track.

The event costs $10 to watch and the event is open for spectators of all ages. Any questions can be directed towards the staff at the Northern Lights Raceway through its official website.
