It was a busy Easter long weekend for the Dawson Creek RCMP and South Peace Traffic Service members.

Over the weekend, multiple criminal code impaired driving investigations took place. One involved a single motor vehicle collision, in which an adult resident of the area suffered minor injuries.

There were also six immediate roadside prohibitions served, where driver’s vehicles were seized for 30 days. These cases also involved serving the drivers 30 to 90 day driving prohibitions.

Another immediate roadside prohibition was served to a driver for excess speeding. That vehicle was seized under the provincial legislature for seven days.

The Dawson Creek RCMP would like to remind the public to not drink and drive.
