Alberta Peace fatal crash
A 15-year-old girl is dead after a Grande Prairie area two vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon.
The RCMP has witness reports indicating icy road conditions may have been a factor in the crash.
The girl was reportedly a passenger in a westbound SUV that swerved and slid sideways in front of an eastbound pickup truck on Correction Line Road between Range Road 61 and Resources Road.
The 18-year-old male driver of the SUV was taken by ambulance to hospital with serious injuries.
The lone occupant of the pickup truck, a 32-year-old male, reportedly declined medical assistance at the scene.
