Update – power has been restored to every customer in Fort St John

A large power outage is affecting 3,600 customers around Fort St. John. Power went out just after 1:30 p.m. BC Hydro reports that the outage is affecting customers in the area south of 115 Ave., east of 108 St., north of 79 Ave. and west of 78 St. The cause of the outage is still under investigation, but the company reports that power should be restored by 4 p.m.
