Toys for tickets another success
Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Over $1,500 in cash and 72 toys were collected during the annual Toys for Tickets campaign.
From Nov. 25 until Dec. 17, residents could pay their parking tickets with either a new unwrapped toy or cash for the Salvation Army.
The cash donations will be used to purchase items for the Salvation Army Christmas hampers and this year there’s a particular gift need for very young children and up to two years old, as well as for teenagers.
Christmas Hampers will now be delivered by the Salvation Army next week before Christmas.Â
