Travel advisory issued for Alaska Highway

A travel advisory has been issued for the Alaska Highway from Sikanni Chief to the Yukon Border.

According to Public Works and Government Services Canada, resident’s shouldn’t travel unless necessary throughout the entire area from K.M. 256 to K.M. 968 of the Alaska Highway.

There are reports of heavy snowfall and slippery sections with poor visibility when meeting vehicles.
