Final 2010 monthly sale of natural gas & petroleum drilling rights today
This year’s final monthly sale of natural gas and petroleum drilling rights in BC is being held today.
Advance reports from the Energy Ministry indicate 23 parcels covering just over 22 thousand hectares will be offered.
In terms of bonus bids, the 11 month total stands at just over $802 million.
That means today’s sale will need to top $90 million in order to surpass the 2009 calendar year total, which was just under $893 million.
