Northern Vac Track officially open

The Northern Vac track is officially open after a ribbon cutting event at the Pomeroy Sport Centre.

The ribbon was cut by Fort St. John Mayor Bruce Lantz, Northern Vac owners Art & Judy Desfosses and local resident Irene Maclean. Following the ribbon cutting local children and residents walked and ran the track for the first time.

Mayor Bruce Lantz mentioned how important this track was to the community and how integral it will be in promoting healthy lifestyles.  Art and Judy Desfosses also agreed noting that this track was something the entire community could enjoy.
