Public input requested in Dawson Creek

Public input is being requested for a meeting regarding the Calvin Kruk Centre for the Arts in Dawson Creek.

The meeting is on Tuesday, Oct. 19 from 7-9 p.m. at the Kiwanis Performing Arts Centre in Dawson Creek.

City Council and Senior Adminstration met last week with the Project Management team to review the construction tender results. The Management team informed council that the three bids received were all significantly over budget.

Council is deciding to cancel the tender at this time and is seeking input from the public to make its next step in the process. Council members are urging the community to attend and to offer their ideas on the direction the City should be taking with this project.
