The City of Dawson Creek and the Village of Pouce Coupe have moved to Stage 3 water conservation methods.
The need for less strict water conditions is being attributed to weather conditions and water usage in both areas.
Under the new conservation regulations, residents cannot water their lawns and may only wash vehicles to ensure they can be safely operated.
No one can fill swimming pools, hot tubs or fountains.
Residents must use a watering can or hose with an automatic shut-off if doing any other type of watering.
