Pat Ferris won the Wednesday night MTB#10 race with a time of 28:11 minutes for the long loop. Jay Morrison was second at 28:19, Adam Currie third at 37:37 and Sam Keats 40:16.

The trail conditions were still slippery from a weekend of rain. Uphills, downhills and corners all required a bit more attention than usual so riders didn’t slide off into the bush.

Coming up:

-Thursday night mountain bike time trial 6 pm.

-Sunday is the final Challenge Cup road race – the ‘Race of the Fallen Leaves’ – at 11 a.m. from the old Montney Store on the Beatton Park Road. Grande Prairie leads the series by a single point going into this final event.
